Philippine Team FIBA Lineup Announced
It was a great day for Philippine basketball fans that they have announced the final 12 for Round 2 FIBA Asian Qualifier. Aside from the selection of players Yeng Guiao replaced Chot Reyes as the new head coach for Team Philippines and now both players and their coaching staff are ready to face what lies beyond them in FIBA Asian Qualifiers.
In the final 12 players we will not be expecting Greg Slaughter which was announced recently that he can play locally in Team Philippines, many did expect that but it seems that their head coach Yeng Guiao has a better idea on how he can effectively use his players. We all know that the process of selecting his final 12 of players takes around a couple of days until he officially announced. But I can see that it is an efficient way to do such planning since FIBA is a more competitive basketball game than of Asian Games and with good strategy and tactics, a slot for World Cup will never be a problem for any team.
Aside from Greg Slaughter, we will not be seeing Stanley Pringle who really make a very impressive performance in the last Asian Games instead Christian Standhardinger will be playing. Both Stanley Pringle and Christian Standhardinger are both effective players but FIBA has its own ruling that only one naturalized player such take the opportunity to play in FIBA and with tremendous evaluation, they came up a decision that they will choose Christian Standhardinger to be the naturalized player.

The Philippine Team are fully ready on what obstacle and challenges they will face within the tournament. They will remain focus on every game and that the trust that every Filipino has given to them really give them a boost of confidence that they will win the matches no matter how hard it is.
