Marco Melandri Wins in the Premiere of WSBK at Phillip Island !!!

The former Motogp rider is the first winner for 2018 after great battle with Kawasaki's champions Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes !!!

Marco Melandri ( Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) was stacked in the tail of Rea at first and Sykes afterwards but looked very cool and waited for the right moment to make his move in the final laps of the race.Tom Sykes almost touch the win he gave everything but in the final 5 laps Melandri was just faster with better tyre management.In 3rd place Melandri's teammate Chaz Davies making two Ducaties in the podium. Davies strangled in the whole race but in the final part he push and passed Xavi Fores and Rea who was facing problems with his rear tyre and finished 5th.
