Why is the weather condition in a stadium to be used for a football match considered before fixing a match in the stadium?

This is so because it's one of the conditions for you to have a good football match.

It is very important that the players can see one another, that the football is visible and that the referee is able to see all that is happening around him to enable him officiate the game properly. All of these would not be possible if the weather is not clear.

Not withstanding, some football games still go ahead under bad condition. It only depends if the condition is bad enough to disrupt the free flow of the game.

Games can go on when it's snowing as long as it doesn't cover the pitch and doesn't stop the ball from bouncing. Same thing goes for rain.

Moreso, as a football fan or spectator, there is nothing to enjoy is the weather is not clear. You cannot be looking at nothing when you paid to watch real things.
