Am Donnerstag findet das 1. Relegationsspiel zwischen dem 16. Tabellenplatz der 1. Bundesliga (VfL Wolfsburg) und dem 3. Tabellenplatz der 2. Bundesliga (Holstein Kiel) statt.

Wolfsburg spielt das Hinspiel zu hause gegen Kiel. Wenn man die finanziellen Möglichkeiten der beiden Vereine vergleicht, ist Wolfsburg ganz großer Favorit. Auch die Qualität der Einzelspieler ist bei Wolfsburg wesentlich besser. Der Überraschungsaufsteiger aus Kiel hat aber eine ganz starke Saison gespielt und wird mit einer starken Mannschaftsleistung alles gegen eine Niederlage in Wolfsburg tun. Ich denke wir sehen ein sehr spannendes Spiel mit vielen Toren. Beide Abwehrreihen stehen nicht sehr sicher in der Defensive und speziell Kiel hat die komplette Saison sehr guten Angriffsfußball gespielt. Ich tippe auf einen knappen Heimsieg für Wolfsburg mit 3:2.

The quality of the single player is much better at Wolfsburg. The surprise climber from Kiel has played a very strong season and will do everything with a strong team performance against a defeat in Wolfsburg. I think we are seeing a very exciting game with many goals. Both defensive lines are not very sure on the defensive and especially Kiel has played the whole season very good attacking football. I guess a close home win for Wolfsburg with 3: 2.

Leider hast du recht aber Wolfsburg wird es wohl machen. ich gönne es natürlich eher Kiel. Aber das Leben ist ja bekanntlich kein Ponyhof

This relegation/promotion games are always fun to watch. They usually can bring much more drama then any other regular league games, even derby games.
Funny for all people in front of the TV's but not really for the both teams. It's to be or not to be.

Couldn't agree more with this. If you are relegated then it is very dificult to come back in 1. Bundesliga, players are sold etc. If you are from 2. Bundesliga and loose this, who knows when will you have another opportunity. Tough matches.
