It is almost kick off for the first premier league game of the weekend (9pm CAT; 1 hour from Kick off) as the premier league draws towards the toughest time of the season; as game after game is going start mounting during the festive period. This weekend is likely to have a few twists and turns with points at the top and bottom of the table still marginally in reach, respectively.
Here are the previews and have predictions for Gameweek 14

Cardiff vs Wolverhampton

Cardiff’s marginal defeat to the Everton in Gameweek 13 has brought them down to the bottom 3. It still would not be fair to rule them out completely, as they showed some fight in them against Everton and could display that tonight against the Wolves at home.

The Wolves are another team that suffered an unfortunate defeat at home. It is looking quite bad for the Wolves though they have not done to bad this season so far. They will need to bolster a strong attacking play to claim a win away from home.

Vote: Wolverhampton Win

Crystal Palace vs Burnely

Crystal Palace played fairly well at Old Trafford in their previous game; proving again that they are not a force to be underestimated. Their home record has been quite staggering as they still have not claimed 3 points at home. This is their chance to do so against a Burnley side that has been wobbly this season.

Burnley’s form lately has been far from impressive. They are still winless in 6 games. Though they missing key players it still does not explain their poor performances this far. They will have to pull a very strong to performance to take down a Crystal Palace side that is high in confidence at the moment.

Vote: Crystal Palace Win

Leicester City vs Watford

Leicester City have not been doing too bad this time around. They are still unbeaten in 4 games and may want to maintain that streak. Against a Watford side that has proven to be quite formidable this season it won’t be easy as they will need to be cautious and daring at the same time if they want to pull off a win.

Watford were no match for Liverpool in Gameweek 13. Though their form as dipped slightly they may still believe that that they can pull off something against Leicester City.

Vote: Draw

Manchester City vs Bournemouth

There is not much to be said about Manchester City this far. Wave after wave of teams face them and get brushed aside like a strong wind in a desert. Man City will are ruthless and will a want to continue their unbeaten run in the season.

Bournemouth are still trying to get their perfect rhythm as they performance have proven that they deserve better. A lot of misfortune has seen them lose few of their games marginally. However, there is no misfortune with a bulldozing Man City. The cherries will have to pull off they best performance against them if they wish to salvage something at the Etihad stadium.

Vote: Manchester City Win

Newcastle vs West Ham United

Newcastle have had a great run against West Ham in the last 5 games winning 4 of them and only losing 1. This run should not be a tool to boast as they may be facing a vengeful West Ham team that are looking to get back in form.
West Ham have been a bit shabby this season, though they have shown that are willing to fight to climb up the table. They defeat to Manchester City in gameweek 13 was unfortunate, but surely will look to have a go at Newcastle.
Vote: West Ham Win

Southampton vs Manchester United

Southampton are still struggling this season. 10 winless matches as they sit the bottom 3; not a position that some people would’ve expected them to be. They face a Manchester United Side that has also been shaky throughout this season.

Manchester United are quite disappointed with their performance against Crystal Palace in Gameweek 13. They are winless in 3 out of 4 games away from home with the 4th being a draw. This a breaking point for them as they look to break that streak.

Vote: Draw

Chelsea vs Fulham

Chelsea’s disappointing defeat to Tottenham has seen them drop slightly away from the top, though still, somewhat in range. They noisy neighbors Fulham, are spurring with a bit of confidence thanks to their win against Southampton in Gameweek 13. They be looking to get back to winning ways and contend for the title.

Fulham will be looking to climb up the table. With a new manager and great win at home they could look to further break Chelsea in this London derby away from home.

Vote: Chelsea Win

Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal’s from has been pretty impressive in recent times. They remain unbeaten since Gameweek 2 against Chelsea and will look to extend that run. It will be tough against a Tottenham side that oozing with confidence at the moment due to their win against Chelsea.

Tottenham are not giving up. Though they had slow start to the season they have been showing much of their strength in recent games. Though having an almost even record against Arsenal in their previous encounters, they should not underestimate them. A win for the Spurs would be somewhat glorious as they set a record for winning 3 consecutive London derbies.

Vote: Arsenal Win

Huddersfield vs Brighton and Hove

Huddersfield have taken 6 points in their last 2 games shifting them away from the bottom 3. This does not give them total comfort but gives them an opportunity to claim a 3rd consecutive win. Brighton and Hove are not to be taken likely though as they still have a lot of fight in them.

Brighton and Hove a have been slipping points in recent weeks. They still haven’t proven themselves away from home. They have tough contest away from home.

Vote: Huddersfield Win

Liverpool vs Everton

Liverpool are still unbeaten in the league. They have ultimately, stomped they dominance in most of the Merseyside derby games and will look to show Everton who rules.

Everton are unbeaten in their last 2 games winning their last one against Cardiff. This may have given them a bit of confidence going into this big rivalry game against Liverpool, though Anfield is place they dread so much. Headlines have said that Silva will be looking to make history at Anfield. They have a lot to do in order to prove that.

Vote: Liverpool Win
