After 25 years, Art Davie is finally being credited for the huge role he had to play in the birth of Mixed Martial Arts. Every single MMA competitor and fan on earth owes this man a great deal.

Art teamed up with the Gracie family back in the early 1990's and achieved the seemingly impossible task of creating the UFC, and continuing to grow it for 5 more years before ultimately selling it to Zuffa, and the rest is history.

In the below interview done by MMA Junkies John Morgan, Davie talks about the early days and tells some fun stories about the amount of hurdles they had to overcome to create the UFC in the first place. This is a much watch for the hardcore fans.
