Milwaukee Bucks acquire Nikola Mirotic from the New Orleans Pelicans
The Mikwaukee Bucks have acquired the services of 3 point sharpshooter Nikola Mirotic from the New Orleans Pelicans. With the Eastern Conference leading Milwaukee Bucks boosting their roster for a playoff push this year. It was a 3 team deal that brought Mirotic to the Bucks, Milwaukee sent Thon Maker to the Detroit Pistons, New Orleans received Jason Smith, and 4 second round picks from the Bucks. Detroit then sent Stanley Johnson to the Pelicans.
Mirotic is averaging 16.7 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.7 3 pointers per game. With this move the Bucks are adding more sharpshooters to the team joining Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton. The move is great for the Pelicans which I think will start rebuilding after star player Anthony Davis has said he will not be re-signing a deal with the Pelicans, and will test free agency.
In my opinion the Bucks have added a solid player in their lineup and will be interesting come the playoffs, who do you think will win the East this year?
I wish the jazz had got him. He is a good 3 point shorter for a big guy.
I was hoping the Sixers got him. But Bucks are even stronger now with more shooters for Giannis and Bledsoe to find.
I do not know much about basketball, I think the Warriors will win again :P haha
