King in the North!

Just like last year, the Raptors once again choked in the playoffs, as the King LeBron James leads the Cleveland Cavaliers as they swept the Toronto Raptors in 4 games. I got this prediction so wrong I predicted that the Toronto Raptors will win in 7 games, following their do or die series against the Indiana Pacers. In this series LeBron had some help from his teammates finally. Also a key factor was the return of George Hill to the squad, I think Hill was massive it stabilized the rotation of the Cavaliers.

The first game was phenomenal, as the Raptors were looking good, leading the Cavaliers for 4 quarters, the Raptors let the Cavaliers hang around, then the game went to overtime. It was the first time in the game that Cleveland led in Overtime as they took Game 1 in Toronto. Game 2 the Raptors were still shell shocked from the tough loss in game 1, as Cleveland dominated game 2, to lead the series 2-0 heading back to Cleveland.

Game 3 then was also an exciting match, as Cleveland led most of the game, then Toronto came roaring back tying the game in the dying seconds led by Kyle Lowry, only for LeBron to once again hit the game winning bank shot over the Raptors. Game 4 was the same as game 2, the Raptors was still shell shocked after Game 3, as Cleveland dominated the game and completely sweeping the Raptors.

Cleveland will then now face the winner of the series between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

So let us pull the scoreboard of my predictions, adding this once again to the wrong ones haha.

LeBronto, what went wrong for the Raptors?

Simply Toronto Raptors star players, Kyle Lowry, and Demar Derozan vanished in the series. Derozan only showed up in the first 3 quarters of game 1, while Lowry I think showed up also in game 1, and game 3. It is now the third year straight that the Raptors were eliminated by the Cavaliers. That is so frustrating to think about. For me I think they should be busy this off season to try and acquire a LeBron stopper, a lockdown defender similar to Kawhi Leonard which can handle Lebron defensively, and just let Derozan or Lowry focus on offense where they are good at. Toronto has still a bright future with the likes of OG Anunoby in the roster. I think they should ship Serge Ibaka in the off season and try to get the pieces they want to once again put a challenge against LeBron and what team he will be in next season. There is not much to fault the Raptors as LeBron I think is playing the best basketball in his career this season, purely sensational.
