Fly high on a sailboat
Have you ever tried to stand up on the boom of a sailboat (for amateurs like me, this is the thick horizontal pole under the mainsail)? It is a fantastic feeling, a sense of freedom, as you fly above the waves in the softly-forwarding boat. You just look at the endless horizon and believe that you can fly... :-)

Seems like I'm too late for the vote party
I should try that on moderate waves ... just did get up there while we were standing still in a lock the other day, for the first time ever. We have a rather big boat, so it's a bit scary to get up there even when the boat is standing still.
I saw the other day a boat also having a top-boom on the sail (now I'm uncertain about the right nomenclature) - even with the sail down this boom was rather high up - and it was curved - and there was this young man standing at the top of it.
Yeah, try it, it is great fun! (But obviously will not work on stormy waters :-D)
