A cold spring day

April 9th: The time of year when in West Virginia we can have a 70degree day or a 35degree day. This year we got treated with a low of 19 and 3 inches of snow. I looked out my window to the beautiful winter wonderland but before I could smile at it's beauty I remembered that it is spring and I am ready to play outside in some warmth.

It doesn't take much to persuade one to stay inside on snowy spring days. Me: "Hey lets go do _____." Husband: "Eh, lets watch some movies instead." I'm pretty sure that both were thinking 'movies' in our head but neither one of us verbalized it. So we started walking through the snow to the gear shed to pack up our surfing gear; I mean levels are good for one of our river waves, how can we not go?

The motivation to get out there may be difficult to find, but at the end of the day we are always glad er decided to go!
