Former Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has said that his team once tried to Sign the two players alongside Fabregas and then mentioned Cristiano Ronaldo as also one of those players wanted at Arsenal at about a decade ago.

Arsene Wenger has admitted Arsenal at one point tried to sign Gerard Pique and Lionel Messi to compliment their acquisition of midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
