Man City, Liverpool and Spurs Achieve Positive Results in the First Week of the Premier League

The top three Premier League teams in the 2019/2020 season won a convincing victory when they started the inaugural Premier League match. Liverpool started the match with a 4-1 win against Norwich City. The match that took place at Anfield Stadium was witnessed by more than 50 thousand spectators who attended the stadium. Liverpool's victory was preceded by an own goal by Norwich City's Grant Hanley in the 7th minute. In the 19th minute Mohamed Salah doubled the advantage of Roberto Firmino's assist. The 28th minute is Mohamed Salah's turn to provide an assist for Virgil Van Dijk. And on 42 minutes, Divock Origi gave Liverpool a 4-0 lead over Norwich. In the second half of the 64th minute Norwich City returned a goal through Teemu Pukki.

Manchester City also won a landslide victory at home when they beat West Ham United with a score of 5-0. The match which took place at London Stadium was led by referee Mike Dean.
Raheem Sterling scored a hat trick at minute 51, 75 and in the second half injury time which was 90 + 2 minutes. The other two goals were scored by Gabriel Jesus and a penalty from Sergio Aguero. Respectively at the 25th and 86th minutes.

Whereas Tottenham Hotspur won 3-1 at home against Aston Villa. Spurs had left behind when John McGinn scored in the 9th minute. Until the end of the first round Aston Villa was still winning 1-0. Tottenham Hotspur could only level 1-1 through a new goal by Tanguy Ndombele on 73 minutes. Dwi's goal from Harry Kane in the 86th minute and second-half injury time put Spurs ahead 3-1 at the end of the match.

Manchester United must face Chelsea in the inaugural match. This match will take place later this afternoon at Old Trafford Stadium. While Arsenal will face Newcastle United.
