Taribo West makes shocking revelation about his experience at AC Milan

in #sportstalk5 years ago

Superficial happenstances, observable occurrences may not be true reflection of reality within an organisation, including football clubs, religious bodies, etc. Just like the popular saying that one should have "spirit of sportsmanship before being part of any sports", but the question, however, is "does this saying apply in all situations?" The answer is a capital NO. Why?

Because there have been reported cases of free for all kinda punches among participating members of different teams. There have been cases of players beating up match officials and referees. Folks with spirit of sportsmanship would not stoop so low.

Another instance of this, is the issue of racism in sports. To ordinary people, racism is dead and doesn't exist in sports again. But to those who are being discriminated against within a sports family, racism is still very much alive in sports.

In agreement with the foregoing subject matter, former Super Eagles defender, Taribo West has come out to reveal what transpired between him and the Italian Mafia during his time at AC Milan.

Recall that Mr West was sent on loan to Derby County after just four appearances for AC Milan.

He revealed that he joined Derby County because he was discriminated against by a clique of Italian Mafians who would not tolerate a situation where a blackman is preferred ahead of players like Alessandro Costacurta, Franco Barsi, and Poalo Maldini. For this reason, they did all the could to see that he was sent parking from the club, and just that happened eventually.
