Simply world-class – Fans hail Osimhen’s heroic display in Nigeria win against Lesotho
The young striker, Victor Osimhen scored two goals and two assists to help the Super Eagles to win the crocodiles of Lesotho.
Football enthusiasts have continued to heap encomiums on Victor for his heroic display in Nigeria’s 4-2 win against Lesotho in Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game.
Masoabi Nkoto scored the first goal of the match for the Crocodiles while the Lille striker displayed gallantry by staging a comeback for the Super Eagles comeback, setting up Alex Iwobi for the equalising goal and then aided Samuel Chukwueze’s 38th-minute strike.
Osimhen scored two more goals in the second half following on its heel was a late goal from Chidozie Awaziem. This sealed their win against Lesotho.
On the back of the five-star display, football supporters have taken to the social media to applaud the young striker.
