The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Washington Nationals in Game 2 of the National League Division Series. Ryu, who was tied in the series with one win and one loss, has become heavier on his shoulder, which is expected to start Game 3.

The Dodgers had their last chance in the bottom of the ninth inning. Leading hitter Turner launched his final counterattack against pitcher Daniel Hudson, who changed his opponent's team, with a one-out double over the right fence. Since then, Muncy's intentional four and Will Smith's walks gave him a two-out bases-loaded opportunity. However, the last batter, Corey Seager, struck out to end the game.

Dodgers starter Kershaw has become a losing pitcher, recording two hits and three runs (three earned runs) in six innings.
