According to the Yankees manager Aaron Boone said he plans to use Sabathia as a agent from next week.

He won the American League Cy Young Award in 2007 with 19 wins and seven losses (average earned run average of 3.21 points) and won 21 games in 2010, setting the record for most wins in a season. His performance this season was five wins and eight losses (average earned run average of 4.99 points).
The media, meanwhile, unveiled the Yankees' plan to operate their postseason starters. Masahiro Tanaka, James Paxton, J.A. Happ and Luis Severino will be available for selection.
