Barcelona's Asisat Oshoala and the Spanish giants launched their dream to record a back-to-back Champions League final appearances after last's season fairytale run. The Catalans avoid a false start after last season's Round of 32 experience in Kazakstan and they were at their best in Alexandria to gain a 2-0 first-leg advantage over Eniola Aluko's Juventus.

Although the Nigeria international could not find the net she was impressive in Lluis Cortes' ladies hard-fought 2-1 second-leg win at home. Despite Juventus' scare in Spain, Barcelona booked their Round of 16 spot with a 4-1 win over two legs.
