Brazil confirm Nigeria friendly in Singapore
German tactician Gernot Rohr made a request to play another African nation to prepare for November’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Benin Republic and Lesotho. This is coming shortly after the country's 2-2 draw with Ukraine in Dnipro.
Now it’s time to focus on the Afcon qualifiers. The game against Ukraine has gone and the boys did very well in my opinion.
Brazil have officially confirmed the friendly match against the Super Eagles billed to happen on October 13 in Singapore. Brazil is the five-time World Cup champions and they are expected to lock horns with the Super Eagles during the next Fifa international break.
According to an official announcement from the Brazilian Football Confederation, Gernot Rohr’s side was chosen because they are ranked among the best two teams in Africa.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Neymar play in this friendly match against Nigeria. Let me see how tough he can really get.
