Inter will always be Icardi's priority despite PSG loan move, says Wanda Nara
A turbulent six months has been brought to an end for the Argentina striker Mauro Icardi who has secured a season-long loan switch to Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day.
But his wife and agent Wanda Nara says Inter will forever be Mauro Icardi's first choice in Italy despite the club having tried to force him out.
The Nerazzurri informed the player he did not feature in their plans for the season.
Nara says her husband signed a one-year contract extension before leaving San Siro, and insists his departure from Inter is "not a divorce".
The 26-year-old's future has become even more uncertain.
Inter needed to sell Icardi. As captain, Mauro would never have left the club. It was a strategy to sell him," Nara told Corriere della Sera.
