People easily forget that he's human too. They mock and criticise him because of his past success.
I could still remember vividly during the 2016/17 season in la liga when he only scored 3 in 16 appearances in the league for Real Madrid and he was quickly criticized by fans saying this is the end of Cr7, but guess what, He proved his haters wrong,So am very sure Cr7 will bounce back in the best of form.
He stood up when Bernabeu fans were booing Benzema
He stood up and gave his penalty to benzema when he had lost all his confidence
He stood up for his team when a journalist were mocking the players of Real Madrid
He stood up when both benzema and Bale wasn't performing and he was the one who was continuously scoring and winning the games
Now some of those fans are laughing and abusing Cristiano in his bad phase of career.
