Wesley Snyder says goodbye to football

Wesley Snyder of the Netherlands concludes his long 17-year football career. He retired from the national team last year. He said goodbye to all kinds of football.

"I am announcing my retirement from football with a lot of memories," Snyder said.

Snyder made it to the national team at the age of just 19 in 2003 years. He was a member of the Netherlands team in the 2010 World Cup finals. 35-year-old Snyder won the Silver Ball in that room.

Snyder scored 31 goals in 134 matches for the national team. He has played in big clubs like Aix, Real Madrid and Inter Milan.
