Friday Softball in Columbus, OH
@mrsbozz and I got up at 4:30 AM this morning to drive down to Columbus, Ohio to watch out nieces play softball in a couple of tournaments. Pool play for our younger niece doesn't start until tomorrow.
We did get to catch some of the pool games that our older niece played in today. They played three games in total today finishing with a record of 2 and 1. They have one more pool game tomorrow before they start bracket play.
It was extremely hot out today with temps in the mid nineties. There was a nice breeze blowing that helped a little and we have started travelling with our pop up shade canopy when we go to events like this.
The big tournament this weekend is held at Berliner park just South of downtown Columbus. The complex is huge as you can see by the map with over thirty total fields for games to be played on. Parking cost $5 per carload which really isn't that bad. The view from the park of Columbus skyline is pretty cool.
In all it was a pretty great day. Tomorrow will be much more hectic with us bouncing back and forth between two separate locations and games being staggered all through the day. Since we saw our older niece play today, we will be sure to focus on watching our younger niece play tomorrow.

WOw that is a lot of fields that is huge, stay hydrated in the heat and good luck for tomorrows games for your nieces ;)
I am doing my best to drink a ton of water. So far they split. Older niece lost, younger niece won.
