The Pogba Question...
For the past few weeks the speculation around Pogba not wanting to be a Manchester United player has filled the social media news feeds. His remarks to the media about wanting a new challenge just added more fuel to the fire.
Recently, his agent Mino Riola has been quite vocal about Pogba wanting a move. His statements to the media have been candid though ruthless towards United. It is no surprise why Ferguson never liked working with the shrewd agent.
The question however, is Paul Pogba's agitation for a move wrong?
Pogba was sold a false dream
Paul Pogba came to Manchester United despite interest from clubs who were in a more stable situation and had Champions League. Fans forget that Pogba signed for United when they were in the Europa League. He was on of the main people who lead us to winning that trophy and securing Champions League.
The next year, United came a distant second and despite the frailties of the squad they never strengthened the squad but instead signed cheap. A third choice goal keeper, Lee Grant, Diogo Dalot, one for the future and Fred.
Those are hardly signings that would put you on the edge of your seat. None of them were meant to be starters.
With a squad full of dead wood Pogba and De Gea were and still are the only world class talents. Pogba must have thought that he was coming into a team that was going to challenge for trophies but instead joined a team of aging mediocre players who seem to have the incredible knack to avoid the chop.
Darmian is still a United player!! He barely even plays.
If that does not show you just how poor the club has been in the transfer market, what else will?
Pogba should be allowed to leave.
For his own good he should leave the club and go to a team with ambition. Looking at our squad now I am convinced that we will finish 10th if not lower.
Pogba got abused by a fan after they completed their lap of honor despite being the best player overall that season. To make matters worse, Luke Shaw took the Player of the Year trophy after doing absolutely fuck-all all season.
That was probably the last straw for Pogba. Despised, overly criticized and expected to carry a mediocre squad through matches.
If he leaves he is guaranteed a Champions League at Real Madrid or Juventus. At Manchester United he will continue being miserable especially under a coach who appears to be preparing Brexit FC instead of Manchester Untied.
Final thoughts
Has Ole bitten more than he can chew? I am starting to doubt he even knows what he is doing. Let me know what you think.

Ithink Ole is clueless when it comes to man management and that Man U are very quickly losing their reputation as a top club. Sadly with these top players being like Prima Donnas, they have no loyalty to any club, thinking they are more important. , they just float from club to club, whoever offers them the most cash. Man U should be glad to get rid of the pair of them because all they do is drag down the morale amongst the rest of the team.
I fully agree with you. Although for Pogba the club sold him a false dream and he cannot really be blamed for wanting to leave. Just look at our transfer business. Look at that useless defense that has not been remedied for years. We only got a specialist right back just weeks ago after more than 5 years.
This are the dark days. I will reserve my full judgment on Ole after the transfer window has closed. If we still have the same dead wood starting for us and we have no reinforcements in the right places, his goose is cooked.
Meanwhile Pogba and Lukaku can leave as soon as possible.
