I've had the pleasure of speaking to David several times over the last two years and watched his catalog of books grow. His stories are fun, sometimes odd and quirky, and often dark.

More about David Whalen

David is a teacher, writer and artist living in upstate NY. He started his career as a graphic designer working in the field professionally for over ten years. After finishing his Masters degree in Art Communication and Education curriculum, David started teaching at the elementary level.

Now along with teaching the future artists of America, David writes, illustrates, colors and letters several books for Correct Handed Comics including: The Offspring, The Loved Ones, Shady Lady, and Evolution: Utero.

David hopes to continue working and improving his comic creating abilities bringing stories to entertain and creating content to be proud of.

Written and skillfully illustrated by the talented David Whalen, it focuses on a group of three friends who one day discover they are each unexpectedly starting to develop superhuman abilities while investigating a number of young children who have recently gone missing in their area.

As our heroes start to come to terms with their strange new abilities they discover that a fiendish cult is behind the child abductions and is hell-bent on using the children as part of a demonic ceremony that will grant the leader and his followers eternal life.

But will Sara, Vince and Will be able gain enough mastery over their abilities in time to foil the cult leader’s wicked plans?
