Preview: Netherlands vs Germany

Netherlands and Germany are two super power house of the European football. In UEFA Nations League, League A Group 1, Netherlands will host Germany. This group constitute of France, Germany and Netherlands. Also, not to forget, this two team are biggest rivals historically and in terms of football too. But with Netherlands loosing magical touch in recent years, we dont hear too much of this two side. But this is still going to be one of the biggest match in the Nations League.

The Dutch army has lost its magical touch after 2014 World Cup. The golden generation of Dutch Football reached the finals of 2010 World Cup loosing to Spain In 2014 World Cup, they finished in third position beating host Brazil in third place play off. After 2 successive success in World Cup, it was one of the biggest shock that they missed 2018 World Cup. The Dutch team is slowly building up., and now filled with many promising World Class players. These sets of players should provide some test to Germany. Jasper Cillessen is on the goal for the Dutch while Virgil van Dijk and Daley Blind will be supporting Cillessen. Kevin Strootman and Frenkie de Jong will be in the mid and Georginio Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay will control the forward line. Netherlands lost the opener against the France in Nations League.

Germany having played 0-0 draw with the World Champions France will be looking to win this one. Germany had poor outing in the World Cup getting out from the group stage and havent recollected ever since. Germany team includes 7 Bayern players in the Squad, and Bayern too are out of form. They havent win last 3 games, are now sixth in the tables. The form of Bayern Munich players might have some impact on the German team. Manuel Neuer, Mats Hummels, Jérôme Boateng, Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Niklas Süle, and Thomas Müller are included in German team from Munich. But Marco Reus is in great form which could be positive for the Germany.
