Football have turned more defensive these days. Big comebacks are rare these days in football. In a Nations League, Turkey pulled one stunning comeback against Sweden at their home. The game at Stockholm saw the Swedish side 2-0 ahead in 49th minute of the match. Then the Turkish team inspired by substitute Akbaba pulled a comeback to win the game by 3-2.

In the match, Sweden got the first goal in 34th minute as Thelin scored. In early second half, Sweden extended the lead as Claesson got a goal with a glorious strike from outside the box. Thelin got the assist for the Claesson goal. After 2 minute of Claesson goal, Calhanoglu scored for Turkey with a deflected shot. Topal got the assist for the goal. Topal was substituted by Akbaba in the 61st minute.

There was nothing till 88th minute. Sweden was well organized defensively in the whole game but lacked the concentration at the very end of the game. And that was the moment, Akbaba started his magic. Akbaba fired home at 88th minute to level the game at 2-2. And to finally stun Sweden, Akbaba scored at second minute of the stoppage time and complete the comeback.

This is first win for who previously lost with Russia. In a group consisting Russia, Sweden and Turkey, Turkey is on the second spot after the win today while Sweden is down at bottom. Russia are at top because of better goal difference.
