Emery wants reunion with Banega

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery seems to be interested in a reunion with Sevilla's Ever Banega. The duo won two Europa League Titles at Sevilla together and Emery wants to recreate that magic at Arsenal again.

Arsenal have already signed Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria. But following the departures of Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere, Arsenal are not left with many options in central midfield. So Emery wants to bring Ever Banega to The Emirates.

Banega is currently with the Argentina camp playing in the World Cup. He has a release clause of around £17.5 million, but reports suggest that Arsenal could get their man for a fee close to £10.5 million.

Banega scored 4 goals and managed to get 5 assists for the Sevilla side that reached the Champions League Quarter Finals last season. But will Arsenal be ready to pay money for a 29 year old midfielder, is the real question.
