Lukaku level with Ronaldo in Golden Boot race

Romelu Lukaku scored another brace for Belgium in a whopping 5-1 victory against Tunisia on the second Matchday of the group. The two goals saw Lukaku on level with Cristiano Ronaldo with both scoring four goals so far in the tournament.

Both teams are on top in their respective groups. Belgium have a tough game against England next while Ronaldo's Portugal face Iran. The two are probably the only two teams among the big boys who have played upto the expectations so far in the World Cup.

Lukaku is the first player to score 2 or more goals in consecutive games in a World Cup since Diego Maradona did it back in 1986. Lukaku also became Belgium's highest ever World Cup scorer. The Manchester United player has been very clinical this World Cup so far, scoring four of his five shots on target.

However, there is some bad news for the Belgians. Dries Mertens, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku all took some knocks in the game against Tunisia and will all be assessed in the next 48 hours. It will be very important for these three to feature against England if Belgium want to win the group.
