Bale voted as Real Madrid's best player for August

The Welshman has been given the the award for being the best player in the past month.

Fans of the club were given the opportunity to vote the player they thought had performed the most and the Welshman was chosen. The award was given by Real Madrid's Mahou.

The award known as Cinco Estrella Mahou was presented to Gareth Bale at the club's training ground on Thursday morning. Gareth Bale has been a regular feature got Real Madrid this season. He scored against Getafe and Girona. in the last two outings. He's currently on three goals.

The player has come from off the shadow's of former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo and is gradually cementing his place as a force to be reckoned with.
