PSG rests Neymar for Saint-Etienne clash

The PSG star, the media has been informed, will not take part in the club's feature against Saint-Etienne in a bid to ensures he's well rested and fit for the Champions league tie with Liverpool.

The coach of the side told a news conference in preparation for the match that he was nursing the idea of resting Neymar after his involvement in the international break for Brazil.

Neymar is a very important player for the French champions and has been involved in all of Brazil's international friendly games - which he also has scored in - and has left the coach wondering if he should be rested for Saint-Etienne's game.

From the news received, it would seem that the coach has finally made the decision to rest the player so he'll be fit to travel - and play - with the PSG squad for their Champions league opening match on Tuesday.
