Arsenal get three point at St James Park.

Arsenal fc defeated Newcastle at the St James park earlier today. I expected a tough encounter for the London side,although it was tough but they got the maximum point out of the match away from home.

The gunners are sitting seventh on the table behind Tottenham Hotspur after their loss earlier today to Liverpool fc.

Arsenal played a fantastic game to secure their third win since the start of the league. It wasn't an easy one for Arsenal as the first half ended goalless, both sides pressed hard but none of the both teams found the net.

Five minutes into the second half, Arsenal took the lead with Granit Xhaka goal. Mesut Ozil doubled Arsenal lead in the 58th minutes, Arsenal sealed their victory in nine minutes.

They were able to hold the home team until the 90th minutes when Ciaran Clark scored a goal for Newcastle. It was the only goal recorded for Newcastle as there wasn't time left for them to source for an equaliser.

The match ended 1-2 in favor of Arsenal.
