Liverpool get three points at Wembly against Spur.
It was a fantastic performance for Jurgen Klopp boys at the Wembly Stadium against Tottenham Hotspur.Liverpool keeps coming stronger, at a point many believe they will stumble at the sight of a big team but they keep looking better after every match.
In return of the English premier League after the international break, Tottenham Hotspur host Liverpool at the Wembley stadium. The result wasn't something we could have predicted because both teams started greatly this season most especially the away team, Wembley should have been a great advantage for the home team.
The match ended in a win for Liverpool as they maintain their spot on top after defeating Spurs. Although it was a bit tough as goal didn't show up in the first half until the 38th minutes of the match when Georginio Wijnaldum opened the score line to put Liverpool in front. The visitors took the half time and left Tottenham with good possession as they struggle for goal.
Roberto Firmino made it 2-0 in the 54th minutes but it was a long trip till the end as the home team pressed but couldn't find the net.
Finally Erik Lamela broke the home team silence in the last minute of the match to give Tottenham a consolation goal. The match ended 1-2 as Tottenham move to 5th for losing twice and Liverpool remain on top after 5 straight victory.
