Spanish defender leaves training after Injury scare.

The Barcelona defender in scare of injury left training session early on Monday morning. While training in preparation for the Russia 2018 World cup Gerard Pique had an unusual feeling in his left knee which he immediately alerted the medical team.
The player was helped out of the field by the medical team, but it was later disclosed that it was a minor Injury and doesn’t affect the player chances of participating at the World cup
The Spanish team are still missing the Real Madrid left back Dani Carvajal who suffered an injury at the Uefa Champions League final and it will be a huge blow on the Spanish squad if Pique won’t be 100% fit for the World cup. Carvajal injury update hasn’t been released in the past 24 hours but the player is likely to be in action if he is fit before the tournament commence.
Pique will be making his 99th appearance if he plays against Portugal in their first match at the World cup. The Spanish team will be looking forward to win their second title after the first in 2010.
