PORTUGAL IS NOT AMONG THE WORLD CUP FAVOURITES - RONALDO

Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that Portugal, who were crowned the European champions in the year 2016, are not among the favourite countries for the coming World Cup. The super star meanwhile added that although nothing is impossible.

Prior to their friendly match on Thursday against Algeria, Ronaldo stated that the Portugal national team was well aware of their not being favourites to lift the cup. However, he believes that in football, nothing is impossible.

The five time Ballon d'Or winner further notified that their fight in the World Cup will be like that of Euro 2016, by giving their all to each match with the belief that everything is possible.

Portugal will meet Spain (June 15), Morocco (June 19) followed by Iran (June 25) in Group B at the World Cup in Russia.
