GUARDIOLA SCARED OF MAHREZ'S INJURY SEVERITY
Pep Guardiola is eager to find out how sever the new signing Riyad Mahrez's ankle misplacement is after the former Leicester City forward was taken off the pitch early against Bayern Munich.
The Algeria international footballer was taken out for Bernardo Silva having encountered an ankle injury in the 28th minute of the match on Saturday/Sunday as The Citizens triumphed over the Bundesliga giants.
Mahrez whose £60m signature for City becomes the club record signing eventually exited Leicester City having tried it km Liverpool during the January transfer but broke down.
"I cannot tell to what extent the injury is. I could not follow him into the locker room. I fear for the injuries I have in the squad now and the players who are still on holiday. I will hope Riyad come back in no time." The tactician Guardiola told reporters.
