SILVA CONSIDERS INTERNATIONAL RETIREMENT
After the subpar Spain performance at the Russia 2018 World Cup, the Manchester City midfielder David Silva is pondering on taking his well used international football career with his nation Spain to an end as he will further seek advice from Pep Guardiola.
The 32 year old Spaniard's exploit with Spain remains unforgettable in the history of the successful players with the country.
He won the World Cup in South Africa 2010 and two consecutive European Championships.
Following his son's premature birth, he said: "My son's issues have been on my mind since we left Russia after losing to the hosts in the Round of 16. I have 100% concentration on him for now and I will probably quit international career."
Silva has bagged 125 caps in the Spain national team, making him one of the highest featured players in their top six.
