Vietnam Vs South Korea in the 2018 Asian Games Semifinals
The Vietnam national team will face South Korea in the semifinal round of the men's soccer branch of the 2018 Asian Games. While in the other semifinals, the Japanese team will face the United Arab Emirates.

Vietnam will be against South Korea in the semifinals. The only ASEAN representative managed to escape after defeating Syria with a score of 1-0 through extra time.
While in the match held at Pakansari Stadium, Japan managed to qualify for the semifinals. Japan advanced after defeating Saudi Arabia with a score of 2-1.
In the semifinals, Japan will face the United Arab Emirates who won 5-3 on penalties against North Korea. The match must be determined on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
