Spurs defeats Chelsea in the first Leg of EFL Cup Semis

In the first leg of EFL Cup semifinals, Spurs won against Chelsea. It was expected to be an interesting affair between 2 big clubs but surprisingly, it was a dull one with both team happy to sit back. Goals were hard to come as Spurs defeated Chelsea by 1-0.

At Wembley, both teams played their first team but they were tired because of the long festival. Both teams were not attacking enough and was happy to sit back. Chelsea was the better team with higher possession and attack. But it was Spurs who took the lead in the first half. Kane scored the penalty for Spurs. In the whole game, Spurs was stubborn not to allow any other goals by Chelsea although Chelsea was the better team in the whole game and won the game by just 1-0.

With the win, Spurs over Chelsea before going to the second leg at Stamford Bridge which is yet to be decided. There is another EFL cup fixtures but no PL fixtures.
