This year's NBA finals maybe doing something good for the technology world - helping to push virtual reality forward to the next level.

Teaming up recently with NextVR, the NBA will be looking to bring the VR highlights of games to its fans as the ongoing series which will see the Golden State Warriors go up against the Cleveland Warriors goes underway.

With the current updated platform of NextVR, fans of the game who have access to the right hardware will now be able to take advantage of what the platform seeks to offer.

And NextVR is not stopping midway as they are currently working with the NBA to ensure that more realistic displays are created so as to ensure that the viewers’ experience are greatly increased.

While there are some worries as to whether or not the social elmemt is taken away when virtual reality is applied to sport, it is only through working with organizations such as NBA that these Virtual Reality companies can create a better experience for their users.
