Mahrez signs for Manchester City

The Algerian international has signed for the Premier League title holders for a club record of £60million. The player came to limelight when he helped guide an infamous Leicester City side to an unprecedented Premier League title in the 2016/2017 season.

Mahrez joins the ranks at City and would provide extra options for Guardiola who would be aiming to win the Champion league after winning the Premier League last season.

Benjamin Mendy has already spoken out on Social media welcoming the player to the club.
