The Spanish giants are looking to find a replacement for Zidane who announced his resignation from the club few days after lifting Europe’s most sorted after trophy, the Champions League trophy.
Club owners are desperate to land in a new manager before the beginning of the World cup as a late announcement could take the shine out of the event.
The World cup showpiece holding in Russia begins in a few days and there has been the urgent need to tie down a new manager as soon as possible before focus shifts.
Spanish news outlet, AS has it that the club is desperate to get a manager as it is slowing down activities and certain decisions that are of utmost importance, like players coming and leaving. The club is going about their business quietly and soon, we may just hear the good news.
Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino looked to have been the ideal man but there’s hardly any chance of chairman, Daniel Levy letting that happen as the club looks to build on last season’s performance.

Guti looks to be the man in the lead to take up the job that Zidane left some few days ago but Brazil’s Tite is also in mind as his contract with the Brazilian national side ends just after the world cup.
