Gerard Deulofeu joins Watford on permanent terms.

The product of the Barcelona Academy, Gerard Deulofeu has successfully secured his stay with English Premier League side Watford.

The Spanish winger spent the second half of the 2017/18 campaign with the English side but he was on a loan term from Barcelona, with the quality of player at Camp Nou the 23 years old winger found it difficult to gain his spot in the Barcelona first team after graduating from the Academy.

The Barcelona team on their website announced the departure of the player to Watford and also wished him luck at the English Premier League. Barcelona also made it known that the contract is worth 13million pounds and Barcelona will have a percentage of any future transfer on the player in future.

At the other end, the Watford chairman also expresses his joy on the club website on securing the player to remain at Watford on a permanent deal. He added that “We are very pleased to welcome Gerard back to Vicarage Road and thank Fc Barcelona for their part in concluding this deal”. In conclusion the Chairman said” Our ambition to succeed and grow in the Premier League remains as strong as ever”.

Football fans are happy and welcome Deulofeu to the English club.
