Real Madrid accepts terms for Kovacic to leave to Chelsea

It is reported that the club has sanctioned a move for Kovacic to join Chelsea.

The Croatian was a crucial member of the team that's made it to the final of the world cup.

Kovacic endured spells of matches on the bench lasts season as Zidane preferred the partnership of Modric, Casemiro and Kroos.

The player had already been itching to leave. He flew straight to Madrid to meet with new coach, Julen Lopetegui after the world cup before going forth his holiday. There was one option on his mind; play me or send me away.

The hierarchy though at Madrid didn't want him away as he was young and had prospects for the future.

The player though, after conversation with Lopetegui, wasn't convinced of role the manager wanted for him and was adamant he needed out. It was even reported that he was to begin a no training protest.

It seems Madrid haven't finally consented in sending the player away on loan to chelsea though the option for a permanent buy was included.
