What did I do today?

Today I had to take the day off school because my sore throat developed into a full blown cold. I looked after myself by taking a nap, drinking lots of water and taking Calpol when my head ached.

I couldn't get anything done today because I had to rest up.

My mum had to be of service to me today rather than the other way round, but she said she didn't mind.

Today I did get to play on the XBox and try out a new game.

Another idea I have for a future career is being a game designer. When I was playing my new game the graphics were amazing and I'd love to do something like that someday. It is another career I could do using my artistic skills.

I hate being sick! I hope it goes away by Saturday because it's my friend's birthday and she's having a party.

I know we both like slime and art.
When I'm sick i drink a lemon and ginger tea for throat it tastes so nice with honey and it really good..
I've tried lemon and honey but never had ginger with it. I'm feeling a bit better now so won't need it as much. Next time I have a cold I'll keep that in mind.

What game did you play today for your hobby? Are there any games out there that actually teach you to design?? that would be really cool!
I used to love playing cooking mama - you would actually make recipes and chop and saute and all kinds of things - heheeh it was really cool!

I do feel a bit better, the game I was playing is called ‘Unravel’. I love cooking mama, I used to play it all the time too. (Sometimes I still do 😁)

It really sucks to be sick but I'm really glad to see you rested, drank fluids and took meds when you needed to. I hope you feel better by Saturday and are able to attend the birthday party.
So, today @purplemaze, since your sick I'm going to give you credit for your service. Here's why. It's really important to do service for others and that is what this section is about BUT it is also important to recognize and appreciate the service of others. I loved that you appreciated your mother being of service to you while you were sick. So, I'm giving you the points for service today. Great job!
Tell me about the game you were check out, what did you enjoy about it other than the great graphics? Artistic skill would be important as a game designer that is for sure. Have you looked up what other skills are needed? I'm going to guess storytelling would be another one but you can tell me that after you look into it. Right?
