Lanaudière: the lines of Route 343 drawn over a dead squirrel

Oops.

Workers obviously ignored the obstacle in the middle of the roadway when they traced the lines separating the two lanes from Highway 343 last Friday.

Indeed, just north of the municipality of Saint-Alphonse-de-Rodriguez, in the Lanaudière region, motorists were surprised to see a dead squirrel spread under the yellow paint freshly spread in the morning.

The carcass of the yellowed rodent remained several hours in the middle of the regional road, before being removed at the end of the day, was able to note the bag of crisps.

The incident will still have left traces in the painting.

RIP squirrel.
