Camping Day 2- Manistee, Ludington and Lighthouses
What would camping be without a few furry friends. LOL. Day 2 was mostly visiting different little towns in the area. We did spend the morning at the beach before we packed up camp.
First, we headed North up to a nice little town called Manistee. It sits on the water about 20 minutes away from our camp site. They have a Pier that walks out to an old lighthouse. It was overcast but we took the walk.
Next we headed South to the town of Ludington. The sun was coming out at this point and made for a nice day. Again they had a long pier with a Lighthouse that we had to see. This walk was a little bit further, but well worth it.
Off in the distance you can see the sand dunes near where we camped.
All in all it was a great time. We haven't had much of a chance to camp this year because of the seemingly never ending rain. Hoping to make it back up camping this weekend. Not sure where we would go just yet. I like to just jump in the car and head north. Everything seems to work itself out that way.

I'm seeing you had a good campout. Thanks for sharing the trip. I can't go anywhere these days that doesn't have "chair" access to get around, so... Pretty much stay home.

Looks like a good time. The older lighthouses are always really cool to see.
Yeah they were pretty cool. I wanted to go to the Lighthouse museum but it was closed by the time we made it there.
