What is Steemwallet?

Steemwallet is an open source wallet for steem blockchain, it is very fast and secure. It was founded by @roelandp and launched in December 2019 and is in live status. Steemwallet also supports login for multiple accounts by just tapping on username and selecting add more users option. The most amazing feature of Steemwallet in comparison to other wallet is - it lets you get rid of those long passwords by giving you option of QR codes and Biometric support. Also it is available both for ios and android.

How to start using Steemwallet?

On launching the website link, you will land on Steemwallet's home page which looks like below:

At home page, you can choose the option of signing up at the top right corner of screen. The sign up pop up box will ask for your details after asking your permission as below. Then after entering your details - your username, your email address, your password and your key - your wallet will be active in no time. You can also set your fingerprints(biometric option) if your device supports this advanced feature.

Now after successful sign up and getting your wallet active, you can perform transaction using keys, QR codes and Biometric option. It is that simple, believe me. Steemwallet supports industry grade AES256 encryption which makes it fast, secure and reliable.

Honestly, it is a fine decentralized wallet but one thing is weird on their website, there are no contact details or help section. If any user has any intented questions or doubts, there is no way for them to reach out to the team. There must be some way of getting help. It is disappointing to see there is no "Contact Us" section on their website.

Conclusion

Overall I am pretty impressed by Steemwallet - it is easy to use with some impressive features of QR codes, biometric support and widget configuration option is also available. Although they should put a help or contact section on their website.
