Steem is not a speculative asset. It is in use. It is in demand. It is working every day.

That image, if you are not familiar, is from blocktivity.info. What it is showing is that steem processed 1.17 million transactions today, averaged 1.7 million transactions / day this week and has processed as many as 2.5 million transactions per day.

It is currently the 3rd most used blockchain, but what is surprising is that it is used more that Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin... every coin (save bitshares and EOS). With Steem, it is being used. There is a huge user base and it is working daily. There is a demand for Steem not (only) speculatively (there is that too), but because it is working.

If you want to earn rewards from posting content. If you want to earn income passively through delegating. The steem blockchain is already fully functioning. You don't need to speculate. Steem is already working.
