RE: My response to the update from Ned | What I think Dtube needs right now
I agree completely, if the uploading system was simplified to the level of YouTube with the end user in mind we would be able to rival the MS in no times with having such a wide variety of content available in one place.... something like a smart feed would go a long way along with a mobile app for the platform such as @Partiko.
Currently we are stuck in that 7 day payout window which also makes the attractiveness of DTube lower than YouTube unless your dealing with censored subjects, curation is fine and dandy but longevity of the content discourages effort only adding to the complacencies of those daily creators.
As for the lay offs, seems like a smart move addressing the scalability of our blockchain.... if someone like myself could run a witness from home the future of Steem is ensured!

Yeah exactly I guess he needed to as sad as it was to scale back costs. He seemed genuinely not happy to have done it.
Yeah there’s lots of features that hopefully will be added in the future to make it a nicer end user experience, I actually meant focusing on getting the right kind of end user not just essentially scammers that make videos 😜😜
