[Steem talk] eSteem 2.1 is here with estm point system

To my fellow steem lover, eSteem has just launched their latest eSteem mobile app release 2.1. I am very excited to see some changes to it. So here I am, a quick install and review.

If you're a first time user of eSteem, kindly head to play store, key in "esteem" at the search bar and you'll be redirect to two different esteem app. Take note one is the legacy version 1.6, which still is my favorite. And there is another version which is the latest 2.1 I'm currently using.

On a side note, if you're an existing esteem mobile user, kindly remove the previous 2.0 version before installing the latest version. This should avoid any complication in caching issue that might occurred in the phone memory. I have done mine and very excited to see the new point system.

Certain country may have a restriction of usage with api.steemit.com node, you're advised to switch to an alternative server for future usage.

Here we are. The latest version of esteem mobile. I am using an Android phone, your interface may be different than mine if you're using a different operating system.

Here we go. At the bottom of the navigation window, the second to the lower right icon is a present, click on it and we shall see this screen. I have a small amount of estm. What are we waiting for? Hit the highlighted amount and …

Here is my point! Wohoo! For now, I have no idea how is it going to benefit me yet. But according to the big shot, this is going to an exchangeable token in future.

Meanwhile, I am using the latest version 2.1 to author this post. I make one time save draft, close the app manually and came back to continue to this point of time. I will be reporting on errors if I press the PUBLISH button and nothing happens.

Oh and one more thing, if you're the previous 2.0 version user, and the publish button grey out doesn't allow you to post, good chance is you only have 4 tags and the fifth is still black. You'll need to scroll to the back and remove that open field if you only intended to use 4 tags. But if you have 5th tag, simply fill it in and you're good to go.
